Anti-Theft Cable Retainer Assembly
Copper thieves steal anything they can sell to scrap dealers. These criminals have caused over $500,000 in damages to the street light systems of Kansas City, MO alone. They remove hand-hole covers from two adjacent poles, cut the copper cables and remove them. Leaving repair and replacement cost for the city. The Kansas City Street Lighting Department turned to Pelco Products, Inc. for a solution.

Within weeks, our engineering team had designed and built the new Anti-Theft Cable Retainer. The assembly is installed between the pole and foundation, clamping the copper cables in place. The cost of the assembly and installation labor is a fraction of the cost of cable repair or replacement.
